I still love coming here whenever I visit Mainstreet. The prime rib is delicious and it's a great deal with your specialty coupon. A bit crusty on the outside with great seasoning. Ordered it medium and it was perfect. Service is always on point and my hubby loved the beer flight. The portion size is big here and when we ordered the club sandwich, you could easily split it w/someone. It came with hot and thick cut fries. We saw huge parties coming in and I love the ambience here.

After driving 6 hours to get to Vegas, I was looking forward to finding something good to eat. I really felt like having prime rib but didn't relish the thought of ordering the special at Cal's Market Street Cafe. The price has steadily increased from about $9.99 to it's current $19.99 price. Unfortunately, the quality has continued to decline as the price has risen. Fortunately, a short walk across the bridge to the Main Street Casino leads you to the Triple Seven Restaurant and Microbrewery. For a measly $1 dollar more, you get a quality, generous cut of prime rib that includes vegetables and your choice of fries, mashed potatoes, or rice. Sure, the Cal gives you cherries Jubilee but if your prime rib is lousy, who cares about the dessert? Now THIS was more like it. A MUCH BETTER dinner. I also ordered a Southern Peach drink made with Jack Daniel's, Peach Purée, & unsweetened iced tea. Sounds good doesn't it? Well, I found it to be very MEH and didn't even bother to finish it. Thank goodness my main mission was a success. I did want to order the bourbon peach cobbler but having made it to the restaurant about 10 minutes before closing, I was a tad too late to get the last piece. Oh the heartbreak. At least I had chocolate zingers I bought at the Flying J on the drive down so I had to settle for a Hostess snack instead. The service was okay considering they were wrapping up the orders for the evening but when they don't bring you utensils and they don't even notice when they bring you your food and you have to ask them, that's kind of weak. Also, when you have to ask for ketchup for your fries and you have to ask a few times for the water you requested when you ordered, as Shania Twain would say, "That don't impress me much". The waitress was nice but she didn't come by to check if I needed anything until it was time to pay the bill. Sheesh. Maybe because I was dining solo? I didn't reduce the tip but I was tempted. I enjoy the food served here so it's disappointing that their hours have been cut after Covid and never restored. Sunday-Thursday, they're only open from 4-9. Friday and Saturday, they only open 4-10. I used to enjoy having lunch here with my kids when they were little during our Vegas trips. No more lunches for anyone. Plus, the menu has been reduced drastically after Covid. I'm glad they're still here but it's not quite the same. I've been up about 24 hours so forgive any typos or grammatical errors. Gambling is hard work...ha!

Stopped in the day we got in (Sunday) cause they don't open during the week. Such a shame. Great place. Had the Prime Rib which is free via the Cal dining book. Only gripe was that they didn't have a baked potato the last few times we ate there. Well our server did say they are adding it back and I got a whopper! Wooo hooo. Delicious meal. Similar to the prime rib factory at Market St., but is slightly a cut above. In both presentation, taste, and dozens of TVs in the joint. And then the beer... nice.
